The inhabited center is the highest in the Gargano and is situated in a wonderful panoramic position on a spur south of the promontory.

Grotte marine

The coast of the Gargano, in particular the stretch that goes from Vieste to Mattinata is one of the most suggestive landscapes of Puglia: between the coves and the small green oases, realm of the royal seagulls and falcons, we find the sea caves, large limestone cavities in which the sea insinuates. In these galleries of particular shapes, thanks to the filtering light and its reflections between rocks and Mediterranean scrub, the water acquires enchanting tones of color, giving us magnificent spectacles.
